Introduction
HYCOSAN NIGHT is an eye ointment soothes dry and itchy eyes while sleeping.
HYCOSAN NIGHT is recommended for the improvement of the tear film and protection of the surface of the eye. HYCOSAN NIGHT is a particularly soft and smooth eye ointment which spreads easily on the surface of the eye.
HYCOSAN NIGHT contains Vitamin A (Retinol palmitate). Vitamin A is a physiological component of the tear film. Thus, the eye ointment is well tolerated and blends well with the existing tear film. The symptoms of burning, tired and dry eyes are relieved and the eyelids move easily over the conjunctiva and cornea.

Composition
1 g HYCOSAN NIGHT contains 250 I.U. retinol palmitate (vitamin A), liquid paraffin, light liquid paraffin, wool fat and white soft Vaseline.

How it works
- HYCOSAN NIGHT is a vitamin A containing eye ointment for improvement of the tear film and protection of the ocular surface. The ingredients in HYCOSAN® NIGHT form a comfortable long lasting protective film on the eyes.
- The ingredient combinations allow for a soft and smooth eye ointment which distributes itself easily and evenly over the surface of the eye and provides long-lasting protection.
- The vitamin A (retinyl palmitate) ensures that the ointment mixes well with the natural tear fluid.
Usage Instructions
- Apply once a day before going to bed. In cases of severe dry eye HYCOSAN® NIGHT can be applied during the day
- Should not be used concomitantly with ophthalmic drugs. If necessary to do so, HYCOSAN NIGHT should be applied about 30 minutes after the application of the ophthalmic drug
- May be used up to 6 months after opening
