The quality and sterility of Hycosan Dual is only proven for a period of 6 months after opening/first use which is why we are unable to advise use beyond that.
However, as Hycosan Dual acts superficially on the eye we would not expect any more serious complaints other than stinging. We would suggest that you stop using it and if the stinging persists or you have any more concerns you should seek medical advice.
