How it works
- The OPTASE COOLING MASK incorporates HydroCool technology (Glycerin gel beads) to act as an energy container, allowing it to transfer cold thermal energy.
- The OPTASE COOLING MASK can provide a cooling therapy once removed from the freezer to relieve symptoms of dry eye disease, ocular allergies as well as puffy and inflamed eyelids.
- When placed in the freezer the HydroCool beads absorb cold energy. This energy is then transferred to the patient by applying the mask on the eyes to provide immediate cooling relief from intense symptoms associated with Dry Eye Disease as well as ocular allergies.
- Cold therapy constricts the blood vessels which results in normal blood flow and reduced inflammation around the eye.
