Introduction
HYLO-FRESH is a lubricating eye drop for soothing relief of irritated or mild dry eye.
HYLO-FRESH is used for the relief of irritated eyes
that can result from environmental stress such as intensive computer-based activity, dry climate, draught, increased solar radiation, air pollution caused by dust or pollen or wearing contact lenses.
HYLO-FRESH contains 0.03% high molecular weight hyaluronic acid for hydration of the ocular surface as well as Euphrasia. The application of the eye drops soothes irritated eyes and eyelids and provides them with a tear-like moistening effect. HYLO-FRESH® treats all symptoms caused by dryness of the ocular surface, e.g. due to insufficient physiologic tear production by the body.
HYLO-FRESH is a sterile solution that is preservative free and phosphate free.
Composition
1 ml HYLO-FRESH contains 0.03 % sodium hyalorunate, Euphrasia-original mother tincture, boric acid/borax (act as a buffer to maintain pH) and water for injections.
Euphrasia is an ingredient that is a natural remedy for eye problems, traditionally used for soothing irritated, red, and burning eyes.

How it works
HYLO-FRESH contains high molecular weight hyaluronic acid and Eurphrasia.
The high molecular weight hyaluronic acid increases the viscosity of the drop. It therefore remains longer on the ocular surface.

- Its unique property is that it forms a regular, stable and long lasting, lubricating and moisturising film on the eye surface that is not easily rinsed of
- This so-called bioadhesive property ensures that the cornea and conjunctiva are protected and together with the physiologic tears the eye lid moves easily over the surface of the eye
For hundreds of years, preparations of eyebright (Euphrasia officinalis) have traditionally been used for the treatment of conjunctival irritation with red and burning eyes, increased tear secretion, swelling and red eyelids or eyelid margins.

Usage Instructions
- Apply 3 times daily in each eye. If needed it can be applied more frequently
- Leave 30 mins between application and use of other eye drops. Apply HYLO-FRESH® last
- Eye ointments should always be administered after using HYLO-FRESH®.
- Can be used while wearing contact lenses. After inserting contact lenses, wait for about 30 minutes before applying the eye drops.
- May be used up to 6 months after opening
